We launched MoreMarkets Earn Accounts to deliver sustainable yield in DeFi through a differentiated approach to liquidity management. Over the past year, we've built a product that attracted significant deposits and a community that believed in what we were creating.
MoreMarkets Earn Accounts are sunsetting.
Why We're Closing Earn Accounts
Over the last year, while we spent significant time making idle assets earn, we realized that building a sustainable business while allowing users to have considerable earning potential on altcoins is not feasible. While we saw initial enthusiasm on the Earn accounts, we’ve realised that the trajectory of the growth was not exponential, which in turn made it difficult for MoreMarkets to be sustainable in the long term.
What This Means for Users
We're committed to a thoughtful transition:
User funds remain fully in your control.
Depositors have until March 8th, 2026 to withdraw funds via the MoreMarkets App.
No further deposits are supported in the MoreMarkets App.
XRP Earn Account, Eagle Earn Account, XRP Flare Account, and NEAR Earn Account will stop accumulating yield from December 8th, 2025 (APY 0%).
BTC Earn, ETH Earn, and USD Earn will continue to function with their respective APYs in the Mizu app. If you have deposits in these accounts, you can continue managing them via Mizu App.
Kaito snapshot data is preserved for potential future development.
Over the coming 3 months, depositors will have full access to withdraw their funds through our front-end. Our smart contracts will remain operational beyond this period for those who prefer to interact directly.
